Bear's Den Announce May Spring Tour
London three-piece Bear's Den's have announced their most ambitious tour to date. Taking place throughout May, the tour kicks off on the 1st of the month with a collection of unique performances in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Commencing in Orkney, at the very northernmost tip of the Scotland, the band will travel the entire length of the UK, weaving their way down through Britain all the way to Brighton, before heading across the channel for return visits to Germany and their debut headline performance in Paris.
Speaking of the Highlands & Islands tour dates, lead singer and songwriter Andrew Davie said: “To finally be able to do this is a huge deal to us. Our previous tours have allowed us to tour more and to visit places not everybody gets to go to. To explore new parts of the world that most people don't normally tour excites and inspires us as a band. For us its important to never take touring for granted as we are very fortunate to be able to do it.”
During 2013, they played a whole host of festivals including Mumford & Sons' Summer Stampede at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in front of a 60,000 strong, sold out crowd, and joined the Gentlemen Of The Road Stopover Tour in the US followed by a support slot with Daughter on their US tour. They then travelled to Australia to support Matt Corby in October before returning to the UK and Europe for their own triumphant sold out headline tour.
2013 also saw the release of two EP's on Communion Records - the 'Agape' EP in March 2013 followed up by the epic 'Without/Within' EP in October.
