Brighton duo Blood Red Shoes have seen their new video for single 'Speech Coma' banned by MTV.
The black & white film shows a singer bleeding to death while on stage, with blood gradually leaking out from everywhere and pooling on the ground.
The duo's Laura-Mary Carter has described seeking to challenge with the footage. "We wanted the video to represent the unsettling nature of the song. We liked the idea of it being gory, weird and unnerving". It certainly is that. Must have got through a hell load of tomato ketchup.
'Speech Coma' is out on June 2.
Blood Red Shoes embark on a UK tour after Easter with DZ Deathrays and Slaves as rotating main support acts.
