Now, we don't like to argue semantics but when you have two bands with one name, albeit spelt slightly different, and in the same country, well, confusion could reign.
Such is the case with seemingly new outfit from Reading, Mythhs. With the lo-fi Brighton duo trading under 'Myyths', get your y or h out of place, and you could be....well, totally mixed up with who is who.
This Reading variant are a four-piece 'ambient rock' outfit, who have just uploaded one track so far to Bandcamp, 'Elements'. The 'rock' description is something of a misnomer on this gentle, slow builder that is dominated by Martha Roper's shining vocals, alongside some fine interwoven guitar, making the overall composition more akin to the 'ambient' - and certainly worth a listen.
