Directed by Tom O'Mara, Loom's new video for their latest single release unveiled last week, 'Yosoko', fulfills all the mean and moodiness one has come to expect with these four. But this really is a killer of a track, and one that should start to see them looked upon as a unit with more to offer than just a barrel load of showmanship and arrogant bravado of main dude Tarik Badwan. Anyone listening blind to the first 55 seconds of 'Yosoko' would be forgiven for not expecting this to be the same band as previously heard on the more fiery punk of 'Bleed On Me'. With their debut album - which, according to drummer Neil Byrne, contains one or two 'surprises' - due shortly, 'Yosoko' is certainly an exciting taster of what is to come.
