Former Titus Andronicus' Liam Betson Shares New Solo Work
Former Titus Andronicus guitarist Liam Betson adds yet another solo work to his name - and this time his own name. After releasing three solo albums under the Liam The Younger name, he will now put out full-length 'The Cover Of Hunter' next month.
Preceding release, Betson has unveiled the lead single 'The Primordial Will' and 'Pocket Knife'. Both take a rather laid-back, hazy line with plenty of reverbed guitars and keyboards; while underneath the lyrics are unflinchingly to the point and poetically intoned, as on the latter: "and the filthy gutter water drips/and the make up smeared close-up pix/of a dungeon-dwelling glitterbest bitch/endlessly wheat pasted to the bricks."
Listen to both tracks below.
'The Cover Of Hunter' is released on July 23 via Double Double Whammy.
