From Beaumont, Texas, punk surfers Purple have announced their debut UK single 'Wallflower', released digitally on June 30.
The trio - known for their raucous, pop sound that combines catchy riffs and smooth basslines with dual male/female vocals that was first evidenced on their debut EP 'Violaceous' - bring that to 'Wallflower', with an infectiously uplifting tone and traces of Bikini Kill and No Doubt where lead vocalist Hanna Brewer raps out lines from behind her drums like a hyper teen.
