Listen :: Mr. Twin Sister

In the history of music there have certainly been some bad name choices: Prince to the incomprehensible 'squiggle' didn't last too long, did it. Nor, we have a feeling, will the decision of Long Island indie-poppers Twin Sister to change their name to Mr. Twin Sister back in May. We could understand it if, say, they had opted for a complete change to avoid mistaken identity with Twin Atlantic or maybe Big Sister, but to add a 'Mr.' on to their existing name...? Just seems plain weird.



That aside, however, musically they are sounding pretty spot on the money. Releasing firstly 'Out Of The Dark' - with those lyrics of "I am a woman/but inside I'm a man/and I want to be/as gay as I can" - and now 'Blush', both they have announced to appear on their upcoming self-titled album.
