Track Of The Day :: Teardrop Factory - 3AM Coke Dream

Tina Muat and Andy Ward, the Brighton duo known as Teardrop Factory, follow on from last year's 'Topshop' EP with the release of their debut full-length, entitled 'Thrash In The Heart', which is out on September 15 thru Faux Discx.

First cut from the 13 track album (home recorded, mixed with Julian Tardo (Bowlegs) and mastered by the unstoppable MJ (Hookworms) at Suburban Home), they describe as "...pop songs about mermaids, electric ghosts, car crashes, geometry, surfing, eating insects, video games and lucid dreams", is '3AM Coke Dream' - which may be lucid, or there again...

Either way it typically utilises their lo-fi ethic, with some swirling guitars and precision drumming; and as recorded in the bathroom, a good clean acoustic should be yours for the hearing.

Catch Teardrop Factory live tonight (August 2) with The Soft Walls and Young British Artists at Soup Kitchen, Manchester, followed by:

August 3. Leeds, Brudenell Social Club w/The Soft Walls
August 8. London, Shacklewell Arms w/ The Soft Walls & Feature
August 9. Brighton, Prince Albert w/The Soft Walls, Feature & visuals from Innerstrings Psychedelic Lightshow
