God Damn Announce New Single / Autumn Live Dates
It's looking like a busy time ahead for the Black Country's God Damn, with a new single on the horizon together with a raft of tour dates.
New single ‘Horus’, out next month, drives a flurry of distorted guitar signals to herald the band's entrance, creating a thick wall of disconcerting rock noise that aims to creep you out as much as it does thrill you. With a lyrical theme that references the Egyptian Sun god Horus (who has the body of a man, a bird's head, with one eye the sun and the other the moon!), ‘Horus’ explores utopian ideas with a brooding, dark musical background.
God Damn are set to release their debut album in April next year, but for the remainder of 2914 are pretty much living in a tour bus, as they take to the road with Kagoule and Turbowolf alongside appearances at Bestival and the Reeperbahn club festival.
‘Horus’ is out on October 27 via One Little Indian.
