Liza Flume, Dublin-based Australian native, follows up her debut EP 'Full Steam Ahead' with the delightful 'Sleepless Nights', which takes her more folkish style of evocative melodies and ethereal accompaniment, and infuses it with some subtle hints of electronica and quirky use of loop pedal guitar.
Working with producer Brian Dillon over the last months, this is the first taste of their joint efforts. Speaking about the track, Liza states: "I wrote 'Sleepless Nights' whilst living alone in my late grandfather's three-bedroom home in the north of Dublin. The first single since the debut EP, the song explores a deep sense of loneliness and isolation and the realisation of the importance of human connection and companionship."
Liza is one of a number of artists taking part in Hard Working Class Heroes in Dublin on October 2.
