Listen :: Nots
After expanding from a duo up to four, Memphis post-punk girl group Nots are now about to release their debut album, 'We Are Nots'. which was recorded over the summer in Memphis by Doug Easley.
Guitarist Natalie Hoffmann and drummer Charlotte Watson have now added bassist Madison Farmer and Alexandra Eastburn on synthesizer to fill out their sound - as you can hear on 'Reactor' below: Driving bass lines, wailing guitar chords, and strident punkish vocals with a synth line zig-zagging under a cacophony of frenetic drums and a wealth of distortion.
'We Are Nots' is released on November 11 via Goner Records.
Nots take to the road next weekend in the US for a run of live dates up to December.
