The 1975 Deliver The 'Medicine'

The 1975 unveil their first new track in over a year in the form of 'Medicine'. Now whether this may your particular prescribed 'dose' or not us debatable since the Manchester foursome seem to attract as much criticism as they do praise.

This latest work is their contribution to BBC Radio 1's re-scoring of the 2012 movie Drive which starred Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. Chvrches, Banks,  Jon Hopkins and Bastille, are among the artists asked for their alternative scores, which was broadcast on October 30 on BBC Three.

The 1975's offering follows on from the likes of  'Girls', 'Heart Out', and 'Chocolate', with plenty of reverb-laden guitar, strong vocal presence from frontman Matthew Healy and with an emotive resonance, it will undoubtedly only help add to their fanbase.
