Track Of The Day :: Seance School - Witches

One of eleven tracks from the just released Seance School self-titled album which came out last month, the near four-minute 'Witches' kicks off with one-and-a-half of those filled with thrashing guitars and drums layers, before the low in the mix vocal pops in and out to its feedback end. It's an exuberant, thumping beast that straddles rock and post-punk.

Seance School is the one-man project of Portland, Oregon-based Robin Washburn, a musician and filmmaker who has directed music videos for Sub Pop Records, The Helio Sequence, The Prids, Here Come Dots, and Leigh Marble, as well as contributed music to film, commercials and documentaries.
