Based in Kingston on the south South London/Surrey borders is a new young rock four-piece by the name of YGHD - aka Younghood. 'Young' being the operative word here since all are still in their late teens.
Formed in the latter half of last year by three ex-members of now disbanded pop punk outfit Truth About Vegas, YGHD have just released (January 9) their debut single 'Velvet' and set to push out a couple more singles later this month. Produced by Guy Davies at Guildford's Empire Studios, 'Velvet' continues the line their previous guise had formulated of fusing jangly melodic guitars with biting drum beats, and young raw-edged vocals.
YGHD are: Joe Sharman - vocals / guitar; Jack Gee - guitar / vocals; Sean Bowen - drums; Charlie King - bass.
