Finnish four-piece from Oulu, Satellite Stories are set to release their second single 'Heartbeat', taken from their forthcoming third album 'Vagabonds', which was recorded in the UK with producer Simon “Barny” Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Temper Trap, Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club).
The first single from 'Vagabonds', 'The Trap', brought streaming figures in excess of 100k in the first five days alone, and was playlisted on YleX (Finland’s equivalent of Radio 1). They furthered this by winning fans over last summer's festival circuit from The Great Escape in Brighton to Spain's Arenal Sound, and their country's own Flow Festival.
'Heartbeat' is another of their eminently catchy and vibrant tracks that is filled with atmospherically structured harmonies, airy synths and floaty guitar melody.
Satellite Stories are on tour in Europe in March, with one UK date at London's Barfly on March 9.
