The Atlanta, Georgia four-piece Red Sea made their own kind of waves last year with their album 'In The Salon', which they released themselves through Bandcamp last September. Now, with its upcoming re-release by Bayonet Records (the new Brooklyn label run by Beach Fossils frontman Dustin Payseur and wife, Katie), the first single to come from the seven-track work is 'On The Marble'.
The track - which according to bassist Mick Mayer, is about "awkwardly falling in homosexual romantic love with a friend" - is mazelike, as it repeatedly shifts and splits its rhythms and vocals melodies, before being reassembled by a jittery drum beat.
'In The Salon' is out on March 3 via Bayonet.
