Track Of The Day :: Sundara Karma - The Night
Words: Linn Branson
We said when we heard Sundara Karma's 'Loveblood' last month - see here - that they were potentially 'the next big thing'. And on first hearing of new track 'The Night' from their upcoming 'EPI' - released on February 23 via 203 Recordings - we are now even more convinced.
What Reading-based four-piece may lack in years - still all in their late teens - they more than make up for in the delicious sounds they are giving us. 'The Night' delivers in enough achingly competent guitar riffs, pop hooks, shimmery synths and the quite compelling vocals of frontman Oscar Pollock to ensure their place in the top five of new young bands you will hear this year.
Catch them on tour if you know what's good for you - sooner rather than later.
