Watch :: Eves The Behavior - TV
Setting out her intriguing songwriting wares last year with her independently released debut 'Zen', then supporting Courtney Barnett and Sky Ferreira on tour, Brisbane-based 20-year-old Eves The Behavior, aka Hannah Karydas, now serves up another new track, 'TV'.
Says Hannah: "One of my favourite authors Alain de Botton says that people only start to get interesting when they rattle the bars of their cages. that idea of being inherently half as bad as we are good is something I'm fascinated by. Balance. Equal portions. I'm a big advocate for twistedness, for the negative emotions I used to be inclined to push away. Boredom, frustration, obsession, hunger, melancholy. I can't be euphoric all the tiiiime..."
Dreamy, yet stark notes of disillusionment, watch the video, directed by Josh Logue (Death Cab for Cutie, Madonna), below, which suitably befits the Lynchian tone of the song.
