After launching in Manchester last year, BBC 6 Music festival this year headed to the north-east.
Kicking off at the O2 Academy, Newcastle on Friday (February 20) in Newcastle and Gateshead, more than 50 bands and artists, including The War On Drugs, The Fall and local band Maximo Park, will play at various venues across the weekend.
