LA power psych quartet Wand made their inaugural impact last year with their debut album 'Ganglion Reef'. Now they are about to drop its follow-up 'Golem' - apparently taking a mere 12 days all in to record.
Fronted by ex-Pangea member Cory Hanson, Wand shared the first single from the album - 'Self Hypnosis in 3 Days' - back in January; a squally guitar rocker, with Hanson on lead guitar and vocals.
Now they are sharing a blistering new track from the LP, ‘Reaper Invert’; an overcast, tough hewn droner set to an aggressive, stomping beat and dense analogue synths.
'Golem' is out on March 17 (US)/April 6 (UK) via In The Red.
On tour throughout the US/Canada from March 13 (including playing SXSW), Wand also hit Europe and the UK in May.
