Bridging the gap between last year's 'Jack-O-Lantern' EP and a self-titled LP to be released on July 14 through Run For Cover Records, Oakland-based two-piece Camera Shy have put out a new single called 'Your Only One' and a video to accompany it.
As you'd expect from a song brought out by a former member of Whirr and Nothing - frontman/bassist Nick Bassett - and ex-Whirr's vocalist Lexy Morte - 'Your Only One' is a charming up-tempo piece of hazy pop rooted squarely in the Californian indie tradition. It's a promising sample of an album that seems set to be a great soundtrack to all of those Orange County-themed garden parties you were planning on hosting this summer.
