Amongst the new names announced today for the London Visions Festival taking place on August 8 are: CAMERA OBSCURA, SHAMIR, JENS LEKMAN, MERCHANDISE, JJ, OSCAR and PIX.
Returning for its third year, Visions will take place across different warehouse venues, art spaces, courtyards, rooftops, churches and outdoor areas in London Fields.
The new acts will join already announced artists which include Fat White Family, The Antlers, Andy Stott, TOY, Peaking Lights, Luke Abbott, and Son Lux.
Scottish indie-pop faves Camera Obscura will play a special London festival performance, alongside Las Vegas’ Shamir, making his London return to London following the release of his album on XL Recordings in May. Swedish musician Jens Lekman joins the bill, providing a taste of new material from his upcoming new album. Florida’s Merchandise hotly tipped London acts PIX and Oscar are also amongst the new names added. More artists are still to be announced in the coming weeks.
