Fat White Family, The Antlers, TOY, Son Lux, Girl Band and Peaking Lights are among the first wave of names announced for Visions festival 2015.
The intimate East London festival returns for its third year on August 8 and will once again take place across different Warehouse venues, spaces, rooftops and outdoor areas in London Fields. This year the festival have added new areas, including the Space Gallery Courtyard, and St John in Hackney Church, with many more acts and happenings at the festival still to be revealed in the coming weeks.
For 2015 Visions will again welcome a host of innovative and talented US acts: Brooklyn’s The Antlers, the California-based husband-and-wife duo Peaking Lights, and hardcore punk band Ceremony all appear. Electro-pop artist Son Lux, and Hawk - aka Luke Wyatt - complete the trans-Atlantic contingent. Fat White Family, TOY, Rough Trade’s four-piece noise rockers Girl Band, fast-rising garage Spanish rock girl group Hinds also join the bill, together with London newcomer Jones, Manchester-based producer Andy Stott and young electronica artist Luke Abbott.
