Watch :: Fictonian - Make It Be Ours

The debut single 'Make It Be Ours' by folk-pop multi-instrumentalist Fictonian is out on May 4 via Distiller. A delicately melodic track, over soothing guitar and piano and clattering percussion as he reflects on "I've been swallowing the words I'm pondering/the nights are my days/ and I'm seeing the world as a melody/and it's not fictional."

The video - which you can check out below - was shot over the course of two years whilst writing and recording his forthcoming debut album, the 'video within the video' was all recorded on a mobile phone, in Croatia, and on the banks of the River Wye in Herefordshire, near to where the song was written.

On the video and song, Fictonian has said: "The song is written about imagining something you want to happen and then making it become reality...I was about to go on holiday with my girlfriend to Croatia and was painting pictures in my mind of what we'd do. Those imaginations did actually come to life on holiday, and lots of those feet videos are from that exact holiday, so the video and the song are very connected for me.”
