Not so much any headbanging going on here in the video for Real Estate's Matt Mondanile's Ducktails project, as a slow drifting journey across wide-open American spaces.
'Headbanging In The Mirror', the lead single from Ducktails' forthcoming 'St. Catherine' album, makes for an ambient jaunt as Mondanile rides the car, places guitar on a roof and generally takes a laid-back Californian trip, in the video directed by Rose Schlossberg, daughter of Caroline Kennedy, and granddaughter of John F. Kennedy.
Ducktails head to Europe this week, stopping off in the UK for two dates including Field Day festival on June 7.
