Introducing :: RADIDAS

Words: Linn Branson

Playing only his second live show last week, RADIDAS, who hails from Maidstone in Kent, has also unveiled his debut track online.

'Stay Here' is a fairly ambitious five-and-a-half minutes from Conor Rowlan, who plays synth, sample pads and guitar, that swells on atmospheric sounds and soaring vocal accompaniment, that broadens out just over half-way through.

"I started this project three years ago, but have really made it a priority over the past year. The name? RADIDAS came from being too stoned one evening laying in bed! I needed a name to go with a few demos I made - and it stuck!"

Keep check via Facebook for future live show announcements. Conor is also "currently working on some merch and a video for the track. As well as more music."

"I guess 'Stay Here' is my official debut track - full track anyway," he adds. "It's an old chord progression I made when I came up with the RADIDAS name a few years ago. To me, it brings up a lot of nostalgia and good times with good people, so it feels kind of right to be a debut track for me!"
