It was helpful of I'lls to state on their Facebook page that their name is "pronounced 'isles", though we can't help but wonder why they didn't use that more convenient variant than 'I'lls' which could be mistaken for a misspelling (which it is)?
But we digress, because actually this trio from Melbourne who have been around for a couple of years now in the electronica field, have, with this latest track 'Let Me Have Just One', turned out something really quite delightfully mesmeric.
Taken from their upcoming EP ‘Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country’ EP, released on July 6 via Solitaire Records, its ambient synths and minimalistic beats merge with Simon Lam’s falsetto washed in reverb soaring above intricate beats, and all merges together into blissville on the accompanying video, too.
