Watch :: Beach Baby's New ‘No Mind No Money’ Video

New London-based four-piece Beach Baby have not not done too badly for themselves so far. With a critically acclaimed debut track in ‘Ladybird’, a sold-out headline show at London's Sebright Arms, opening for the likes of Jungle and Django Django and appearing at last weekend's Field Day and at Bushstock this coming Saturday - and all before mid-year! - they now offer more.

Firstly, they are to play a headline date at Boston Music Rooms in north London on October 8, but before that they have unveiled the video to second single ‘No Mind No Money’.

‘No Mind No Money’, which will be released on June 22 via Chess Club, is an atmospheric blend of summery, 60s-inspired American pop that combines with Ollie and Lawrence’s languid shared lead-vocals, topped off with a grungry riff here and there, and the catchiest of rhythms that will leave you humming along to. The track was co-produced by William Lowes and given a suitably dreamy mix by Cenzo Townshend (Jamie T, The Maccabees, Franz Ferdinand).

Describing the new video, Beach Baby write: "We asked photographer Lily Rose Thomas to make our video. She wanted to create a fantasy, but a fantasy that makes you feel good rather than an obsession. As the song has a sense of yearning and desire, the idea was to evoke the feelings you get when you first fancy someone."
