Watch :: LOOM Unveil Video For Single 'Hate'

Words: Linn Branson

Out on Monday, June 8 via Raft Records (the newly formed label run by Faris and Tarik Badwan)/Vinyl Factory comes the latest release from the masters of snarling noise punk, LOOM.

'Bleed On Me'/'Hate' is the double A-side 7", released on limited vinyl / Edition of 500. The former is a new edition of one of their live favourites that first appeared on cassette in December 2012.

'Hate' is an unrelenting three minutes of darkly ominous and early aggressive intensity, that the recently upgraded to five members outfit deliver with their usual full on approach.

Check out Thomas James' directed film for the track, above. Theclip is quite a gripping watch, so much so that you tend to shut out the actual song at times, so intent one becomes on the visuals. We can't help but note that either Tarik has been pumping the old iron in readiness for this 'fight', or he's been keeping those biceps well hidden under the leathers.

Currently on tour with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - remaining dates below - LOOM head to Camden on June 15 to play the Barfly for XFM Xposure, joined by Black Honey and Prom, which will be aired on John Kennedy's show at a later date.
