Ambitious seven-minute track from the self-titled EP, released this week on Yucatan Records, by new London-based experimental folk three-piece (William Stokes and twins Imogen and Ellie Mason), who meld classic instrumentation with sampling, analogue synthesis and sound manipulation.

MJ (Hookworms/Menace Beach) produced fuzzy hooked surf-popping title track from the Leeds outfit's next EP, out September 25 via Memphis Industries. Catch them today (July 17) at Cumbria's Fell Foot Sound festival.

From the Manchester grunge fuzz trio's self-titled debut album out September 4, following on from 'Wasted Away' which we previewed back in March.

16-year-old Liverpudlian finding enjoyment in bedroom DIY electro acoustics, releasing his three-track 'Off My Chest' EP this week.

From the six-track 'Homesick In Indonesia' EP released this week by Bournemouth grunge rock three-piece. Whilst this track lends more towards Nirvana, the majority of the EP is like Slaves taking on QOTSA. Heavy duty.




DIET CIG - SLEEP TALK
New AA single (w/'Dinner Date'), a Father/Daughter-Art Is Hard co-release - out on limited edition clear vinyl on September 18 - from New York's garage pop duo, who offer a nicotine caution (“But I’ll never be a smoker ’cos, the second cigarette makes me feel like shit"), along with their snappy post-relationship observations.





DEMOB HAPPY - WASH IT DOWN
Fuzz-ridden first single by the Brighton garage rockers to come from their forthcoming debut album, out August 14 via SO Recordings.
