Dear Brother are a new alt-rock four-piece hailing from Bristol and London and currently based in the capital. They have just released their debut AA-side single 'Snowcaps' / 'Kiwi'.
After forming a year ago - none of them being brothers, despite the name - they have spent time writing and recording in rural south-east England that vocalist Antony Hurley reveals may be partly responsible for "a theme of escape is constant" in the songs that have come out of that period. Guitars, keys and offset rhythms entwine with a strong lyrical focus on their initial two tracks, described by the band as "songs to listen and escape to".
Check out 'Snowcaps' below.
Dear Brother are: Antony Hurley - vocals/guitar/keys, Oscar Schumacher - guitar/vocals, Andy Davy - bass, Cal Winwood drums
