Even if they sounded rubbish, how could you not fall for a band called Tangerine Love Puppies! And as their name may suggest, the Puppies, who hail from Shrewsbury, are exponents of psychedelic pop.
The currently two-man outfit - Jamie Yorke, vocals/guitar and Ed Potts on drums - have just released the trippy 'Polaroids' as a foretaste of an EP due later in the year. Against its laid-back instrumental side, Yorke's vocals are hard to ignore in their emotive complexion as the song builds.
