Nottingham four-piece Field Studies are about to unleash their new EP ‘Rainmaking’ this Friday, May 27, via Denizen Recordings.
The dark, enveloping follow-up to their debut ‘Celestial’ sees them hone their atmospheric craft, exploring more raw, bleak textures. The EP was self-recorded by the band over a long winter, almost exclusively at night, capturing the eerie environment of their frozen suburban recording space across the four tracks.
Listen to the latest cut from the record, ‘Crook’, below.
