With their third album, 'Gameshow', out on October 14, the Northern Irish outfit Two Door Cinema Club herald it with the first single release, a funked up 'Are We Ready? (Wreck)', unveiled yesterday (June 14).
The catchy, vibrant track - influenced, the band have said, by the likes of Prince and David Bowie - plies Alex Trimble's vocals over polished guitar lines, layers of bass and even a children's choir coming in here and there.
The band, currently on tour in the US, head back to the UK next week for their Glastonbury Festival appearance on June 24, one of a raft of European festival dates they have lined up over the coming months.
