Listen :: Shambolics - When She Goes Home
Words: Ellie Ward
There's been a lot in the press this week about Oasis' Mancunian ex-frontman Liam Gallagher.
Well, we don't have LG here, but visually at least there's a Scots lookalike by way of Lewis McDonald of the Shambolics, who looks like he may have been paying Gallagher's barber a visit.
This new single from the Kirkcaldy, Fife four-piece, 'When She Goes Home', is surprisingly catchy considering it has a lot of words to its lyrics - see the full set on the video link - and given McD's Britpop-ish, rock 'n' roll appeal and engaging vocals, along with chiming guitars, punchy beat, melodic harmonies and foot-tapping rhythms, it sounds like a perfect summer anthem.
