Watch :: Marsicans get their sea legs (and get wet) in video for 'Absence'

Words: Linn Branson

Marsicans share the lead pop jangle track and video from their EP 'The Absence', released yesterday (September 16) through Love Vs Fear Records.

The black and white shot film, directed by Rianne White, opens with some soporific waves as the Leeds four-piece adopt a reflective mood on a boat, as the wind whips their hair, before we see a young lady looking wistfully out to sea from a lighthouse.

This is such a good, upbeat track from the band, who have just been getting better and better it seems with every release, and whose set for the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury this year was one of the highpoints. Watch out for them to really make an impact in 2017.

They have a number of live dates coming up, so go see!
