Second single (after 'Young Hearts') released October 21 from 19-year-old Owen O’Hagan, Irish-born, Liverpool-based artist. This latest offering is a catchy, upbeat sub-three minutes of nifty melodies and rhythms to stick in the head. Star rating: ★★★★☆
JOY ATLAS - ALTITUDE
From one 'global' artist to another, this time the upcoming single - out November 11 - from Newcastle's synthpop quartet. Math rock-like melodies, that follows ‘Dismount’ and ‘Drop Your Sword'. The disjointed rhythmic texture may he hard to get lost in here. Star rating: ★★☆☆☆
CAIROBI - GHOST
Out November 10, the latest single from the self-titled debut album due January 27 2017 on Week of Wonders label, continuing the infectious and psychedelic groove of the London-based multicultural band. Star rating: ★★☆☆☆
FUTURE THEORY - EYE OF THE STORM
Debut single from the Lincoln alt-rock four-piece's first EP 'Fool's Dream' which is out on October 28. Drawing on a diverse sonic palette from shoegaze to alt-rock, funk and psychedelia, their moody, ambient guitar sound displays a distinct American flavour. Star rating: ★★★☆☆
