Dark, devilish and brooding is how we like 'em, and L.A. Witch's 'Brian' fits the bill perfectly.
The Los Angeles-based grunge threesome - Sade Sanchez (vocals/guitar), Irita Pai (bass/vocals), Ellie English (drums) - caught our ears this time last year with the full on glorious chugging riffs and reverbed vocals of 'Drive Your Car'. Now signed to Suicide Squeeze Records, they share this latest reverb-rich punk special. We don't know exactly who 'Brian' may be, but the way the girls sell his soul in this four-minute slow-burner is just the kind of enticement we like.
