Watch :: Beach Baby unveil 'Smoke Won't Get Me High' video

Words: Sam Geary

Beach Baby are kicking off  2017 firstly with the release of their video for 'Smoke Won't Get Me High' - taken from their debut album 'No Mind No Money' - which you can watch above, plus they have announced a couple of live dates.

Following sold-out shows last year at London's Scala and Village Underground, on top of dates with Glass Animals, and Palace, Beach Baby will now play London venues Kamio on February 17 (as part of Phil Taggart's Slacker night) and curating a charity show for Youth Music at the Montague Arms on March 30.

'Smoke Won't Get Me High' was originally written after a bad night's sleep, and captures those strange thoughts when you're trapped in your own head in the early hours (childhood, death, sex, and everything in between). The song's video, add the band, "was made on a whim during a night out, in celebration of a funky new hair-do. We shot it on a DV camera with an iPhone torch as lighting."
