Peace, Black Honey, TOY amongst those announced for new Oxford festival - Ritual Union

New kid on the urban festival block is Ritual Union, a one-day event to be held on Saturday October 21 at five venues along Cowley Road in Oxford.
The O2 Academies 1 & 2, The Truck Store, The Bullingdon and The Library will play host to some of the best of new talent, as well as more established artists for this inaugural edition including Peace, Black Honey, TOY, Pinkshinyultrablast (making their only festival appearance of the year), The Vryll Society, Flamingods, Ukrika Spacek and Dead Pretties.
As well as cherry-picking some of the best bands from around the world, the brains behind Ritual Union also aim to promote the best of Oxford’s local talent, offering bands including experimental indie foursome Low Island, folk duo The August List and electronic outfit Candy Says prime placements on the bill.
Names announced so far - with more bands still to be added - are:
