Nottingham singer-songwriter Joseph Knight may be just 18 in years, but his maturity is of someone far older.
After starting to play the guitar at seven, releasing his debut single at 15 while still in school in 2015, performing at festivals such as Dot To Dot, Y Not, and supporting the likes of The Hoosiers and Lewis Watson, Knight may still be largely an unknown name still outside of the East Midlands.
But take a listen to his new single 'White Wine' and it is all too clear that here is something of an undiscovered gem. His confessional lyrical style is perfectly complemented by immediately catchy melodies enveloped in electronica, beautifully composed and arranged, and sung with a soulful and passionate voice.
Joseph Knight is a name to raise a glass to.
