CLUB KURU - I'M STILL A MAN
Following recent single 'The Memory Junkie', Laurie Erskine and Laurence Hammerton's alt-psych five-piece share new taster from upcoming debut album, out March 23. 'I'm Still A Man' is written about a man dreaming of possessing equal power in the relationship with his girlfriend, but in the end remaining weak.
FLING - BANJO BILLY
After having a 'Bad Day' back in January, Bradford's favourite glam-rockers release this three-minute wonky psych-pop stomp, from upcoming EP, ‘The Legend of Banjo Billy’, released April 13 on Dance to the Radio.
FOREIGN FLAG - GRAVES
Loud, raucous and raw in the vein of Brighton's SONS, London two-piece noise-punk band - Frazer Richardson (vicalrs, guitar), Callum Thomas (drums) - released this debut digital single on March 9.
WULFMAN FURY - GETAWAY
Edgy, energetic, self-released new track from the Sheffield garage-rock crew, who are no stranger to Little Indie. Synths and grit is the order of play on this radio-friendly cut.
ULRIKA SPACEK - LORD LUCK
Following the release of their second album 'Modern English Decoration' last year, London-based art-rock five-piece return with this first single from new EP 'Suggestive Listening', out on April 21 via Tough Love Records, as part of this year's Record Store Day.
THE MAGIC GANG - TAKE CARE
A second offering after last single ‘Getting Along’, from the band's self-titled debut album, out March 16 via YALA! Records. Bassist Gus Taylor takes on lead vocals for the first time on this cut, showing another side to their more usual exuberance.
ZOZO - CLOSE TO FALLING ASLEEP
London-based, Spanish-born synth-dreampop artist, she fills another soundscape of lush, drifting electronica with silky vocals.
PALACE WINTER - EMPIRE
From the Copenhagen alt-rock duo's -Carl Coleman and Caspar Hesselager - new album 'Nowadays', arriving May 4 via Tambourhinoceros. A strings 'n' synths mix.
POLE SIBLINGS - CARVE
Sweden-based Finnish dreamfolk sibling duo Sofia and Johan Stolpe are back with the lead single from their upcoming second EP 'Sköljer bort dig' (Swedish for "wash you away"), released on April 6 via Strangers Candy. Sofia's haunting vocals complement Johan’s dexterous guitar work.
SOFI TUKKER - BABY I'M A QUEEN
New York duo Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern release their debut full-length ‘Treehouse’ on April 13, and have also revealed a new track from it, which is, they say, “about standing up as strong and powerful, because of that courage to share ourselves. It’s about being both a baby and a queen at the same time.”
