Second single, 'Backseat Driver' released last week, the follow-up to last year's debut ‘Petty Thieving' from on-the-rise Coventry five-piece. Infectious indie-pop with a touch of swagger, pummelling drums and a barrel load of energy.

2. Are you a seasoned Escaper as a punter, or a first-time newbie?
First time newbie.
3. Will you be a Brighton day-tripper or staying for the whole event?
We’ve got some pals around Brighton and loads of bands to go see. Definitely gonna be getting razzed throughout the weekend and try to avoid embarrassing ourselves in front of industry folk, which is always a risk once the bag of cans reveals itself.
4. The highlight of your set will be...?
Got some new material which we’re all pretty gassed for. There’s one in particular called ‘Ringroad City’ which describes the Coventry student experience in all it’s glory. It’s a nice boi to end the set on, and definitely a loud one.
5. Where will we be likely to find you after your set: at the bar, on the beach, stuffing fish n chips, or other?
Bar. Might go skinny dipping later on if the weather is doing bits. You gotta be careful with the Brighton fish n chips, we’ve had some mixed experiences. Have your British wits about you and don’t get caught with your pants down (we once found ourselves paying a cool tenner for a soggy cod, not the one believe me).
We’ll probably hit up some of those world renowned vintage outlets, in search of the best buys within the margins of our scarce bank accounts. We’re also planning for all of us to get a tattoo of a seagull with a macho mask…
Context : First show we played in Brighton last October, we walked over from the venue to GAK to fetch some new strings and what not. Upon leaving the store we all notice a seagull land in the middle of the road in order to innocently collect some breadcrumbs (wee boi was probably off to feed his young) when out of the blue the most enormous and grotesque 4x4 (probably a Range Rover) accelerates and ploughs the boi down. Witnessing this harrowing ordeal changed the band forever, and in respect to our fallen soldier, we’ll be eternalising him on each of our ankles. RIP Gully Boi.
7. Who else playing at TGE are you hoping to see yourself, or would recommend others should put on their must see list?
Everyone in their right mind has to go and see Idles, they’re incredible live. Quite keen also on Bad Sounds and Benny Mails. And Chappaqua Wrestling as well, they’re deece.

Saturday 2:30 - Secret Show
Try your best to find the sweet spot…that point where you’re nicely bevved but you’ll also remember some of the music tomorrow…
