Track Of The Day :: FEHM - The Sea To Come
Words: Sam Geary
Out this Friday, August 3, 'The Sea To Come', is another delight from Leeds post-punks FEHM.
Recorded, mixed and mastered with one of the post-punk masters, Matt Peel, at the Nave recording studio in Leeds, the track like its partner - Little Indie's Track Of The Day last month - meld delicious layers of guitars and synths, in an atmospheric bundle around Paul Riddle’s dark and brooding, yet melodic, vocals.
"'The Sea To Come' is primarily a love song written in an unconventional way," he says. "It flutters through times of struggle whilst knowing, whoever it may be, at any cost, will always be there for you."
Five and a half minutes to savour.
