slowthai releases his debut album today (May 17), and along with latest video to one of its standout tracks. 'Inglorious', you can also stream the record in full.
Punctuated by his punk spirit and frenetic energy, 'Nothing Great About Britain', out via Method Records, serves as a deeply personal portrait of his life growing up. In addition to guest features from Jaykae and Skepta, the album includes production led by Kwes Darko, with Mura Masa and Slaves on singles 'Doorman' and 'Missing' respectively.
Along with the release, slowthai is sharing a new visual for 'Inglorious', featuring Skepta. Directed by Crowns & Owls, the visual is as gripping and scathing as the song's lyrics. Brimming with allusions to films like A Clockwork Orange and Inglourious Basterds, underlines the album's strong statement of dissent on the country's rising nationalism.
