There's plenty 'More' from Leeds' Brooders

Words: Ellie Ward

After their recent set at The Great Escape's Alternative Escape, Leeds' psych-grungers Brooders are about to drop their third single of the year, 'More'.

Out May 31, the sub-two and a half minute 'More' - which follows rapidly on the heels of last month's 'Daisy Chain' - is a scuzzy blend of driving grungy psych, with an added alt-rock coating that pack a visceral punch.

"It speaks of a time of uncertainty. It looks at life from two sides of the coin and takes the listener on a journey fuelled by distress and tension," says vocalist Adam Bairstow. "The song is one of our more aggressive offerings in the sonic highways of grunge, and it’s a statement of the need for more."
