Los Angeles-based Chuck Moore's solo project Cartalk follows up this year's two earlier singles, 'Noonday Devil' and 'Wrestling', with another cut from next year's debut album, 'Pass Like Pollen'.
The three and a half minute 'Sleep' burns with regret - “Looks like I need outside perspective / See the shadow behind my blame / Pull out the fragments of us I won’t let go of / While you learn to forget my name" - lyrically, while Moore's falsetto lends a plaintive alt-country tone to the catchy melodies.
