Released yesterday (March 11) through 22TWENTY, Parisian alt-pop trio Oracle Sisters - Dane Lewis Lazar and Northern Irish Christopher Willatt, along with drummer Julia Johanssen - return with their new single ‘Asc. Scorpio’.
A swaying, psychedelic dreampop palette of layered three-part harmonies and reverb drenched guitar riffs over drum machine beats. the track is a taste of their debut EP, due for release later this spring.
The idea of the song was born when lead guitarist Lewis was stung by a scorpion in Jamaica, and on returning to Paris, smuggled said scorpion through customs.
Oracle Sisters will return to the UK later this year and plan to release two EPs in 2020.
