Soma Sons are maybe not making the 'Same Mistakes', but putting them down in words on new single

Manchester alt-rockers Soma Sons have dropped their new single today, with accompanying music video.

Like every other band at the moment, the four-piece, who straddle alt-rock/pop boundaries, are turning their attention to writing and putting out their pre-lockdown recordings.

'Same Mistakes', a lengthy four minutes-thirty-plus, opens quite low-key with just guitar and Matthew McGoldrick's vocal register-shifting tones drawing you into the lyrics, before they get to the two-minute mark and it all gets fiery and intense, with some bombastic moments following that Queen in their heyday might have approved of.
