No sooner had they dropped 'Ready When You Are' and the earlier 'Lesser' on us, Brighton-based Thrillhouse are back flexing their musical might, and Talking Heads-channelling-David Bowie muscles, with 'Wild Child'.
Out today (July 17) on Seymour Butz Records, the synth-injected, 80s styled track - which was home recorded, before being mixed at The Silk Mill, Staffordshire - conveys a personal message behind the bouncy, upbeat textures.
“Did you ever wonder what was coming? / As the lanes divided / From the open road to the back of the line / It moves so fast," singer Sam Strawberry intones, as he puts the vocal to the words written to his father to let him know he’s done okay.
